General tips applicable to all interior products:

Effective use
Please note that our range of interior items is suitable for general indoor use, not for extraordinary and improper use, outdoor use or in damp areas.
Light
Light changes all materials! In general, sunlight but also artificial light causes materials to fade. Therefore, try not to expose furniture to the direct effect of light. This will prevent discolouration and accelerated fading. If furniture or accessories are left in the same place for a long time, it is possible that discolouration of the furniture, accessories and floors will occur, whether in direct or indirect sunlight.
Temperature
Too much heat is harmful to all types of furniture and upholstery. Foam fillings deteriorate in quality due to too much heat. Therefore, never overheat furniture
near sources of heat. If furniture is placed behind glass in direct sunlight, shrinkage and/or cracking may occur. If it is necessary to place a sofa or other furniture in front of a radiator, make sure there is enough space between the floor, radiator and furniture to allow air to circulate properly. The ideal living room temperature is between 18-21 C°.
Humidity
Too high humidity is not good for all furniture, too low will dry out leather. Wood can warp, foam can change, in short it is important to ensure a healthy living environment for people, animals and furniture. For living rooms, a humidity of 45-55% is advised.
Pets
Your pets“ claws can damage your furniture. Scratches don't look good, and pulled threads in textiles are a waste. Even the best types of wood and stone, varnishes, fabrics, and the most robust leathers cannot withstand a ”treatment" from our best friends.
Floors and furniture
To protect your floors and furniture, make sure already at the time of purchase that the glides or castors are suitable for the floor on which they will be placed. If this is not the case, you may need to apply a protective surface, e.g. a rug. Felts should be replaced in good time. For glide caps, choose the right glide cap for your floor, available commercially. After cleaning the floor, furniture should not be put back down until it is completely dry. If you wish to move your furniture, the table should never be pushed, but lifted. Otherwise, parts may be damaged, which could make the furniture unstable.
Taxability
Only the seat of seating furniture allows you to sit down. The load capacity of armrests, footrests, etc. is limited. They should not be loaded with full body weight. The controlled load capacity of the seats of most seating furniture is at 110kg.
Cleaning
Regular dust removal, cleaning and protection will preserve your furniture. In the case of almost any stain, it becomes 10x harder to remove when the surface is dusty, and already dirty.
