Visit the Interior Design page under 'Get Inspired' for personalised advice. For our extensive custom-made products, it is often advisable to visit our showroom and receive expert advice from our interior specialists.
Return policy
Products that we have in stock in the store can be safely taken home on approval to see how they look. Sometimes you just want to see how, for example, that lovely table lamp or that comfy armchair looks. Items that we order and are made to measureunfortunately cannot be returned or exchanged.
Maintenance advice
To ensure years of enjoyment from your interior product(s), it is important that you carefully follow the maintenance tips on the Maintenance Advice page, with all sorts of useful information that can help you with your new interior purchase, so that you can continue to enjoy it. Failure to properly maintain your furniture may lead to complaints that are not covered by the warranty.
Standard Warranty on Items
Statutory Warranty: All items purchased from us are covered by a statutory warranty. This means that an item must be in good condition and function properly during normal use. Manufacturer's Warranty: Certain products come with an additional manufacturer's warranty. A manufacturer's warranty is an extra guarantee provided by the importer or manufacturer. If the manufacturer of the products offers a more extensive warranty than stated above, then this manufacturer's warranty shall apply. The manufacturer or importer may set their own terms and conditions for this warranty. More information about the manufacturer's warranty for these specific items can be found in the product documentation or requested from us.
Defective Product
If an item is defective, please report it as soon as possible via info@looiershuis.com. Please take photos of the damage and/or problem and email them with your query and proof of purchase within 8 days of the problem arising. We will gladly provide you with a suitable solution as soon as possible. Depending on your item, we will do this by replacement, refund or repair. The Repair Service will be handled by the manufacturer, our professional furniture maker, or an authorised company. Repairs that fall outside of the warranty will be repaired at cost price. We also charge call-out fees for a service visit. Repairs abroad are not covered by this as standard. Please contact us to see if there are any options.
All In-House Service Warranty
We collaborate with Oranje Furniture Care and offer the ‘All In House’ service programme on all our upholstered furniture. Five years of carefree enjoyment of your furniture, that's what's unique about this service! The best cleaning and care products, knowledge of and passion for materials and construction with a top team of service engineers. Should you wish to make use of this service within the 5-year period, please report this within 3 working days of the problem or stain occurring. Although the impregnating agent makes fabrics firmer, please be aware that most furniture manufacturers no longer provide a guarantee on a defect in the fabric's quality after treatment with the impregnating agent. Complaints
We place great value on good service. Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. Do you have a question, complaint, or suggestion? Please let us know. If you have a complaint about a product, our service, or delivery, please contact us by email, by telephone, or visit our shop. We aim to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible. We are happy to provide you with a suitable solution as soon as possible. Depending on your item, we will do this by replacement, refund, or repair. House Rules Warranty
- The purchase date in shop or home delivery date is the start date of the warranty period;
- Damages or imperfections should be reported within 8 days of purchase or delivery;
• 't Looiershuis Interiors always reserves the right to rectify a defect and to collect the furniture for repair if necessary;
• In any case, follow the maintenance tips on the Maintenance Advice Page to prevent damage!
Excluded from Warranty
• Showroom models, sale models and home accessories;
• Damage caused by your own transport or assembly;
• Items that have been misused, such as in cases of guilt/intent and violence;
• Furniture for project-based use and/or commercial purposes;
- Product-specific features such as normal wear and tear and signs of use;
Creasing of upholstery; Shrinkage seams and small tears in wood; Colour difference with leather, fabric and wood colour samples in store; Effect of light and heat on leather and fabric; Behaviour of wood under the influence of light, heat and moisture; Damage to flooring during use of furniture with caps and wheels; Wear and tear on caps and wheels.
