To order

Simply follow these steps on the website to place an order request: Add your desired products using the ‘ORDER’ button. Fill in your details and submit your order request, and we will be in touch with you shortly.

Ordering in the shop

For more extensive bespoke products, it is often advisable to visit our showroom to receive expert advice from our interior specialists. You can then place your order with the interior specialist in the showroom. Alternatively, you can request a quote and place an order based on this at a later time.

Paying in store

Stock items can be taken directly from ’t Looiershuis Interieurs and paid for in-store with a Debit card (Maestro, no credit card), Cash, or a Gift voucher.

Cash on delivery

If articles are delivered, we request a small deposit and a delivery charge depending on where you live; please see ‘DELIVERY & SHIPPING’ for details. For delivery, you can pay by PIN (Maestro, no credit card), cash, or a gift voucher. If payment on delivery is not possible, we request that you transfer the amount before delivery, stating your order number. Shipments that we outsource must always be paid for in advance.

Gift voucher

A gift voucher for ’t Looiershuis Interieurs has no expiry date. It is always valid as long as the current owner runs the business. It is expected that the current owner will continue for at least another 1.5 decades before the next generation takes over the business. You can purchase a gift voucher in the shop.

Business Ordering

Business customers can order on account. You will receive the invoice at the billing address you provide after receiving your order. However, we may require a certain prepayment from you. This will, of course, be discussed in advance. Are you interested in the products on our B2B site as a retailer? Please register there as a business customer.

Delivery times

The exact delivery time depends on whether the item you ordered is in stock, the delivery time of a customised product, the chosen delivery method, and the distance to where the delivery is to be made. The delivery time will be discussed with you during the ordering process.

Delivery time for out-of-stock items

If an item is out of stock or custom-made especially for you, these items must first be ordered from our suppliers and will be delivered to you as soon as possible after delivery to our warehouse. The exact delivery time depends on the supplier and the article you ordered. Indicative delivery times are listed with the items in our webshop, and will be discussed with you again during the ordering process.

Delivery time multiple items

When you order multiple items at once, we do our best to deliver all items to you in one go. In that case, the delivery time for your complete order will be the same as that of the item with the longest delivery time. If you prefer to have the items you have ordered delivered independently, you can indicate this during the ordering process. Do you need furniture urgently? Please contact us for a suitable proposal. We always have products that can be taken away immediately, or scheduled directly for delivery.

Delivery

Of course, you want your newly ordered interior products to be handled with extra care. Therefore, our expert and friendly delivery staff will be happy to personally deliver your order to you in our solid Tanner House van or truck.

Delivery charges

Delivery within a 75 km radius of our shop costs €95.00. The price for further delivery is on request. Please contact us to discuss the options. We ship our furniture worldwide with approved furniture carriers. Some smaller items are typically sent by post, shipping costs will be discussed with you in advance. Some smaller, fragile items are not sent by post. You can choose to collect such an order yourself.

Planning

Once your complete order has been received by us, we will contact you by telephone to arrange a delivery appointment. You are responsible for assessing whether a piece of furniture can fit into your property. For all tables, the base is separate from the top. If a piece of furniture cannot be delivered into your property and a second delivery needs to be scheduled, the cost for the second delivery will be the same as the first. For tables larger than 240cm, it is advisable that you arrange for additional assistance to bring the table inside.

Delivery

Two of our delivery staff will carefully carry your furniture order inside and place it in your desired location. They will carefully unpack your order for you and take the packaging materials back for recycling. All products will be delivered at the same time. Fragile items such as glass home accessories and lighting can be delivered in one order with your furniture by our own delivery service.

Montage

Our expert delivery drivers assemble almost all the furniture they deliver, so you can enjoy your purchase on the same day. Of course, they also ensure that all doors and/or drawers are properly adjusted. All furniture items are fitted with felt pads under the legs to protect your floor. Some items are excluded from our assembly service: our delivery service excludes wall mounting and the assembly of lighting. For these, you will need to arrange for a professional installer yourself. 

First-floor delivery

Do the furnishings need to go to a higher floor? If so, you will need to arrange a removal lift yourself. The costs for this will also be your responsibility. You must assess for yourself whether a removal lift can be used in your living situation. We will discuss this with you in advance.

Free in-store collection

Would you prefer to collect your order from our warehouse at our shop on Florijnstraat in Chaam? You can indicate this during your order process. We will inform you when your order is ready for collection, and we will help you load the furniture into your car.

Visit the Interior Design page under 'Get Inspired' for personalised advice. For our extensive custom-made products, it is often advisable to visit our showroom and receive expert advice from our interior specialists.

Return policy

Products that we have in stock in the shop can be taken home on approval to see how they look. Sometimes you just want to see how, for example, that nice table lamp or that comfy armchair fits in. Items that we have to order and are made to measure cannot be returned or exchanged, unfortunately.

Maintenance advice

To ensure years of enjoyment from your interior product(s), it is important that you carefully follow the maintenance tips on the Maintenance Advice page, with all sorts of useful information that can help you with your new interior purchase, so that you can continue to enjoy it. Failure to properly maintain your furniture may lead to complaints that are not covered by the warranty.

Standard Warranty on Items

Statutory Warranty: All items purchased from us are covered by a statutory warranty. This means that an item must be in good condition and function properly during normal use. Manufacturer's Warranty: Certain products come with an additional manufacturer's warranty. A manufacturer's warranty is an extra guarantee provided by the importer or manufacturer. If the manufacturer of the products offers a more extensive warranty than stated above, then this manufacturer's warranty shall apply. The manufacturer or importer may set their own terms and conditions for this warranty. Defective Product

If an item is defective, please report it as soon as possible via info@looiershuis.com. Please take photos of the damage and/or problem and email them with your query and proof of purchase within 8 days of the problem arising. We will gladly provide you with a suitable solution as soon as possible. Depending on your item, we will do this by replacement, refund or repair. The Repair Service will be handled by the manufacturer, our professional furniture maker, or an authorised company. Repairs that fall outside of the warranty will be repaired at cost price. We also charge call-out fees for a service visit. Repairs abroad are not covered by this as standard. Please contact us to see if there are any options.

All In-House Service Warranty

We collaborate with Oranje Furniture Care and offer the ‘All In House’ service programme on all our upholstered furniture. Five years of carefree enjoyment of your furniture, that's what's unique about this service! The best cleaning and care products, knowledge of and passion for materials and construction with a top team of service engineers. Should you wish to make use of this service within the 5-year period, please report this within 3 working days of the problem or stain occurring. Although the impregnating agent makes fabrics firmer, please be aware that most furniture manufacturers no longer provide a guarantee on a defect in the fabric's quality after treatment with the impregnating agent. Complaints

We place great value on good service. Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. Do you have a question, complaint, or suggestion? Please let us know. If you have a complaint about a product, our service, or delivery, please contact us by email, by telephone, or visit our shop. We aim to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible. We are happy to provide you with a suitable solution as soon as possible. Depending on your item, we will do this by replacement, refund, or repair. The Repair Service will be handled by the manufacturer, our professional furniture maker, or an authorised company.

House Rules Warranty

- The purchase date in shop or home delivery date is the start date of the warranty period;

- Damages or imperfections should be reported within 8 days of purchase or delivery;

• 't Looiershuis Interiors always reserves the right to rectify a defect and to collect the furniture for repair if necessary;

• In any case, follow the maintenance tips on the Maintenance Advice Page to prevent damage!

Excluded from Warranty

• Showroom models, sale models and home accessories;

• Damage caused by your own transport or assembly;

• Items that have been misused, such as in cases of guilt/intent and violence;

• Furniture for project-based use and/or commercial purposes;

- Product-specific features such as normal wear and tear and signs of use;

Creasing of upholstery; Shrinkage seams and small tears in wood; Colour difference with leather, fabric and wood colour samples in store; Effect of light and heat on leather and fabric; Behaviour of wood under the influence of light, heat and moisture; Damage to flooring during use of furniture with caps and wheels; Wear and tear on caps and wheels.
