TV Furniture Tabwa Teak Ancestors 160

The Tabwa TV cabinet from Ethnicraft's Ancestors collection is inspired by African culture. The beautiful carvings feature linear and geometric motifs. The TV furniture has 1 or 2 drawer fronts and 1 flip-down door made of 100% solid teak that are richly decorated with carvings of linear geometric motifs. The other parts are made of high-quality oak veneer, as are the shelves that can hold a lot of equipment. The warm dark brown colour is obtained by the black varnish finish.

Named after the Tabwa tribe from Central Africa, the collection's inspiration comes from the Tabwa's penchant for linear geometric motifs. The most prominent symbol includes the triangle and forms a central element. The triangle is interpreted as a new moon, symbolising rebirth and the continuity of life. The triangle, along with the other ornaments are artfully crafted with chisel and hammer into the solid teak top. Seeing this beautiful carving is like travelling through Africa.
