In addition, every incidence of light on the actual fabric is different and also determines the look of the leather. It is therefore best to visit our showroom to see the colours of the materials in real life and to feel the structures, which is just as important. Also, not all materials are represented here and you will have even more choice in shop.

AFRICA

Composition: Buffalo hides that have been lightly sanded, and where the natural character is emphasised by the possible presence of (healed) scars, horn marks, net bites and by the beautiful colour shades. Provided with a special wax and oil treatment, this is a medium-strength protective finish and has limited moisture and dirt resistance.

KENIA

Composition: Buffalo hides where the natural character is emphasised by the possible presence of (healed) scars, horn stitches, net bites and by the beautiful colour shades. Because the leather is partly sanded, it has an open structure. As a result, it feels wonderfully warm and soft. Finished with aniline transparent dyes and a wax finish, this is a medium-strength protective finish and has limited moisture and dirt resistance.

VINTAGE

Composition: Cattle hides whose natural character is emphasised by the possible presence of (healed) scars, horn stitches, net bites and by the beautiful colour shades. As the leather is partly sanded, it has an open structure. As a result, it feels wonderfully warm and soft. Finished with aniline transparent dyes and a good protective wax finish, it is, however, less moisture- and dirt-resistant than varnished leather.
