PROJECT PEACE, ELEGANCE AND COSINESS IN A NEWLY BUILT VILLA
In this beautiful modern villa against the outskirts near Roosendaal, the sun shines in unconcernedly through the large windows. The large living room is arranged so that there are several places to enjoy the large garden, the fireplace and the light in the house. The residents had the house built themselves and felt it was important that it be furnished in a contemporary style, but that the atmosphere would also be intimate and cosy. How nice that we were allowed to supply the furniture for this!
Our interior design specialist recommended furniture, lighting and accessories in a beautiful balance of calm, elegance and cosiness. And that was exactly what the residents had in mind.
Through the use of comfortable furniture, soft rugs, subtle yet distinctive lighting, a few statement pieces in dark shades, and beautiful fabrics in natural soft tones, the house indeed exudes tranquillity, elegance and cosiness.

Daughter has just moved into a new home with a clean base and finished with beautiful materials. Self-designed to create calm, luxurious and beautiful spaces. Daughter's creative spirit nurtures the home and brings warmth and comfort. An inspiring calming cosiness that brings harmony and security.
We were allowed to advise both mother and daughter in the choice of dining rooms from which both chose beautiful eye-catchers. The low dining set by the mother. And a Danish oval table set by the daughter in greyish oak, which is combined with comfortable contemporary dining chairs with a backrest that embraces you. LUXURY LIVING PROJECT IN LEUR
For the residents of this beautiful newly built house in Etten-Leur, a house is not just to live in practically, they love luxury and like to exude it. Aniek's husband relies on her choices in the design process and big decisions are obviously made together. The modern elegant interior of this first new build home in de Leur that she took care of follows a natural progression from a light to a dark tone-on-tone colour scheme for both fixed and loose furniture, transforming the entire space throughout the day. This transformation was also highlighted by the use and combination of different materials and surface finishes. It has become a mature home with a calm base, combined with a mix of materials with distinct details. Although they knew well what they wanted, we were allowed to advise them on furniture choices.

PROJECT HUIZE MASTBOS
On the old road from Princenhage to the Mastbos, a cheerful couple bought an authentic property in this historic village, which is part of Breda. They both love a contemporary 1930s vibe that is a little more streamlined, but certainly not too cold. They visited ’t Looiershuis specifically for a sofa, which is exactly what they ended up with, and eventually selected their entire interior. They decided not to compromise, but instead to go for exactly what they found most beautiful. The residents knew exactly what they wanted, but also trusted our creativity and expertise. At ’t Looiershuis, we look back on a very pleasant collaboration.
Together with our stylist, the gentlemen chose tighter furniture and lighting with authentic materials of steel, wood and glass. They further made adjustments that make the rooms bigger and let more light through, such as the steel doors, with a lot of love for the house's past. The residents have a great sense of detail. The look was allowed to be relaxed, with some ‘glam’ and, in contrast, some tough details.
For the living room, the Tino lounge sofa with a chaise longue was chosen in a sturdy linen-look natural coloured fabric. A corner configuration that takes up little space and yet is very generous. With its narrow armrest, stylish seat indentations, and steel legs, the Tino has an elegantly relaxed appearance. Together, we arrived at a beautiful ensemble that truly makes their house a home: a coffee table set with a tray, ‘White Cloud’ painting with gold leaf, a wool rug, the Aiden swivel armchair with characteristic ‘paperfold’ pleats, also in a sturdy linen-look fabric, the ‘Drop’ side table with a glass droplet base, a side table with a round pressed stone top with a marble look, the ‘Tubino’ floor lamps, and natural coloured decorative cushions with a graphic design.
Inspired by contemporary 1930s style, they opted for the Danish oval table with inlaid herringbone pattern in a beautiful dark brown, greyed oak colour and a black steel base. The retro dining chairs Janice with armrests, which are generous yet don't take up much space, are a lovely choice for this dining room setting. A touch of ‘glam’ returns in the steel-coloured velvet fabric. And to beautifully highlight this acquisition, they chose the ‘Sphere Bulbs Smoke 3-light’ pendant lamp. This part of the room was further styled with a marble tray, mouth-blown glassware, and the dented vase made of off-white ceramic. After renovating and styling, it's truly time to enjoy their home with friends and family. The scene with the sideboard made from an old oak beam and the Cylinder Off-White ceramic table lamp with a natural linen shade from the first post of this project, is an extension of the hallway, where they happily welcome their guests.

ELEGANT NEUTRALS‘ PROJECT IN A 1930S VILLA IN BREDA
While making plans for the makeover of this old villa from 1934, the residents initially thought they were just going to refurbish, but pretty soon they decided to go for the most optimal result and eventually turn it into their dream home as a family with growing children.
They engaged interior designer Danielle Verhelst who helped them with bolder choices and was involved in all the details, always tagging along, like picking out furniture, lighting and accessories in our interior shop. The residents like tasteful things and know very well what they like and don't like. Our stylist from ’t Looiershuis made them nice suggestions, and these were to their liking.
The tranquillity of the neutral palette, the atmosphere and lightness, contrasted with the mix of elegant materials, bolder textures and designs made the whole look more beautiful than the residents had dared to imagine beforehand.

PROJECT CONVERTED FARMHOUSE INTO FAMILY HOME
Rural outdoor living is the way of life for this family, the children run in and out all day. The choices made with the residents suit their character. Such as chilling out with family and friends at long tables both outside and inside. The renovated farmhouse has a façade with a wide glass front which brings the garden inside, and also shines lovely light on the long oak dining table where more than ten people can have a cosy dinner. The children are outside a lot, so nice that you can see them in the garden from the family table.
The residents are very happy with the choices the stylists of ’t Looiershuis made together. Their family home is now truly their dream home. In the evening, the large family relaxes here by the fireplace. Actually the domain of the beautiful red quadruped. Here they nestle into the large corner arrangement of Bench Nomad, a modern classic on cantilever legs, made even more elegant by the decorative cushions by Claudi BySAMM. And on the garden side is also a lovely corner with armchair Pastille to unwind.

PROJECT NEW RURAL INTERIOR WITH COLOUR
When country details are mixed with colour in a new-build flat, you get a special surprise: a vibrant home. Our stylist found the right balance for our client, combining sofa unique ‘new country’ items with a classic touch.
In the lounge, two-seater sofa Umberto on legs in Dentro fabric was chosen. A modern all-round classic that fits into many interiors. Furthermore, two Mason armchairs with a round seat, whose armrests merge roundly into the backrest, and a solid beech wood base in black. These comfortable armchairs embrace you and offer a loving feeling like a real hug. An elegant, voluminous and soft jacquard woven fabric of a heavy quality slightly shiny chenille yarn has been chosen, with a creative woven design and luxurious look. The tall Lacquer cabinet in Greenish Grey adds style to the room.
The weathering, the grain of the wood and the dark weathered patina of the side table and the low sideboard give the room warmth, enhanced by the antique table, unique home accessories made of natural materials, and the red fabric of the Summer armchair which offers a nice reading nook by the window.

PROJECT MODERN CLASSICS IN A STATELY CITY VILLA
This beautiful city villa from 1885 on the edge of the park has been given even more allure with spacious armchairs, coffee tables, cabinets and luxury living accessories that also radiate warmth at the same time. The atmosphere of the old house has the authentic charm of the past, it certainly needed to be preserved, but at the same time it had to become fresh and modern with a positive, warm and calm atmosphere. The house was given a warm heart.
OASE OF REST
A warm oak floor was laid for the base and further work was done with natural materials, and natural tones.
MODERN CLASSIC SEATS
This base needed to be complemented by furniture that further complements the oasis of calm. The light tones and natural materials of the upholstered furniture reinforce that feeling. The spacious Carmen lounge sofa was chosen, a timeless classic in our collection that offers plenty of space for everyone and is great for evenings of TV. The organic (kidney-shaped) Mogador sofa and pouf from the previous post bring a relaxed atmosphere by the fireplace, as does the round armchair Pastille by fireplace numero two.
BOHEMIEN
A good number of items in the interior have an ethnic touch and bring that calm bohemian vibe. Like Ethnicraft's storage cabinet inspired by the linear geometric motifs of the Tabwa culture. Tribe lamp by Piet Boon by the sofa. And coffee table Jukebox as well as many other beautiful spots in the house, which are accompanied by home accessories made of shells and pottery from different cultures, which evoke beautiful memories of frequent travelling.

PROJECT DUNE HOUSE DOMBURG
We had the honour of supplying the furniture for this beautiful thatched holiday home in the dunes of Zeeland. Our clients had their ideas in mind, and we were allowed to complement these very finely. The furniture of their second family home had to be robust and solid. This is also an excellent idea with a view to possible rental of your holiday home.
THE DUNES
Living among the dunes captures the imagination, and the surrounding landscape of lush dunes was therefore the inspiration for the interior. The house was to become a perfect place to relax in the dunes of Domburg. In terms of colour, the interior blends into the dune landscape with sandy hues, and the weathered solid elm wood of the robust furniture brings the same rustic vibe as driftwood.
REST AND RELAXATION
For the living room, we chose two Giorgio sofas and furniture in weathered elm wood. In the sitting room with its beautiful window that opens onto the garden, you can relax in the two Summer armchairs. The books you have always wanted to read are highlighted by the Eloy floor lamp. For the dining room, a solid oak table with curved tree trunk sides and eight swivel chairs Santiago upholstered in the sturdy jacquard woven fabric Pisa were chosen. The tray with the beautiful home accessories completes the look to create a luxurious place to dine with family and friends. Further along, the sideboard in weathered Elm wood holds the glassware of wine glasses and decanters.

We begin our journey through the northern European silver birch forests towards the Mediterranean Black Sea, for a walk along the coastline with delicate rose bushes and the leathery amber scent wafting up from the sunny Labdanum sea bushes. Further skiing through the coniferous forests of the Pontic Mountains for a touch of raw black amber, and moving on to Southwest Asia to catch some spicy scents of coriander and cinnamon. The scents blend well with the frankincense and saffron found in the markets. As you climb further through the forests of the Himalayas to fill your lungs with the warm and soft airs of cedar, you then descend further into South-East Asia for the special Black Oudh fragrance of the Aquilaria tree. Then sail by sailboat along the archipelago of south-east Asian islands, where the Elemi trees shed their pine and lemon scents in the flow of the wind. Which takes us further across the turbulent Pacific towards the travelling sun to catch the last scents of the white snowdrop-shaped flowers growing on the Japanese styrax tree.
