The Tabwa TV unit from the Ancestors collection by Ethnicraft has a solid teak flip-down door and drawer fronts richly decorated with carvings of linear geometric motifs. The other parts are made of oak veneer, including the shelves where you can store a lot of equipment. The warm dark brown color is obtained by the black varnish finish.
Named after the Tabwa tribe from Central Africa, the inspiration of the collection stems from Tabwa's predilection for linear geometric motifs. The most striking symbol is the triangle and forms a central element. The triangle is interpreted as a new moon, symbolizing the rebirth and continuity of life. The triangle, together with the other ornaments, are artisanally processed with a chisel and hammer in the solid teak top. Seeing this beautiful carvings is like a journey through Africa. There are several pieces of furniture from this collection in the showroom.
